Let's Talk

Corporate Consulting

What if work could feel different?

I help organizations create healthier ways of working by bringing the conversation back to the whole person—the mind, body, emotions, relationships, and environment.

Through consulting, workshops, and professional development, I help teams and leaders build greater awareness, connection, resilience, and well-being from the inside out.

Where Most Organizations Start

Does any of this sound familiar?

01Burnout that keeps showing up, even after another wellness initiative.

02Compassion fatigue. Low morale. Disengagement.

03Teams that aren't communicating like they used to.

04Leaders carrying the weight of everyone else.

05Turnover that doesn't seem to have one clear cause.

06Psychological safety and trust beginning to erode.

07Change fatigue after one transition too many.

These aren't simply employee problems to manage. They're signals that something deeper may be happening within the system.

If the usual solutions aren't getting to the root, it may be time to look more expansively at the problem and more deeply at the solution.

A Different Building Block

What if cohesion—not pressure—became a building block of your culture?

A culture where people feel valued enough to contribute fully. Connected enough to collaborate. Supported enough to navigate challenges.

And grounded enough to do meaningful work without constantly operating from survival mode.

About Christina

Why work with me.

I'm Christina Simmons, LCSW-C, LICSW, SEP—a clinician, educator, and integrative practitioner who understands what happens when people, stress, and systems collide.

I bring a clinical, leadership, and somatic lens to organizational wellness, looking beyond surface-level solutions to understand what may be driving burnout, disconnection, and disengagement in the first place.

Your team doesn't need another wellness initiative that sounds good on paper, checks a box, or puts a Band-Aid on deeper issues.

They need an approach that understands the complexity of being human at work—one that supports people, strengthens the system, and makes space for people to do their best work.

The Bigger Picture

This is more than workplace wellness.

It's about creating space for the strength of teams to support them in doing their best work.

It's about helping leaders lead with greater intention.

It's about giving people tools they can actually carry with them.

And it's about creating cultures where well-being isn't an afterthought, but part of how we work.

Organizational Consulting

What an engagement looks like.

Every engagement is built around what your organization actually needs. Most include some version of the following.

What's included

Interviews with leadership and staff

Review and analysis of your relevant data

Surveys, where they're useful

A written proposal and recommendations

Implementation support

Follow-up to assess progress and adjust

Scope and timeline

Engagements generally begin at three months. The length depends on the scope and complexity of the work, and on how much implementation support your team wants along the way.

No two organizations arrive with the same problem, so no two engagements look the same. The first conversation is about understanding what you're actually dealing with before anything gets scoped.

Two engagements.

Engagement One

Improving clinical outcomes in a behavioral health department

This organization came to me during a period of significant leadership change. They wanted to improve clinical outcomes in their behavioral health department while also reducing the amount of time clients spent in care.

I reviewed their outcome measures and time-in-care data, then interviewed clinicians to understand what was happening in practice. The department was relying heavily on talk therapy, with limited use of more targeted interventions designed to create measurable change.

By the end of the engagement, they had new measures for defining success, training in additional clinical modalities, and a broader approach to treatment. Clinicians also reported less burnout, because they were no longer relying primarily on talk-based interventions.

Engagement Two

Building provider confidence in assessment and crisis response

This organization was struggling with providers consistently completing suicide risk assessments. I interviewed each provider to understand where the uncertainty was coming from, connected with local crisis response teams, conducted a joint crisis-response training, and helped create new workflows.

When I left, providers were completing the assessments with much greater ease and confidence. They told me the new workflows took the guesswork out of the process and made it clear what to do at each step.

What People Say

Christina has a way of making solutions seem easy. She completes meta-analyses and has a tenacity that is unmatched. To her, she's simply being herself, but in watching her develop proposals and departmental plans while considering staff needs, change management, budget, and organizational priorities, I've realized that this is truly her superpower.

“

Christina came to our organization during a time of change. She observed, listened, and researched ideas and opportunities to improve and expand our services. She presented leadership with a proposal that included an expansion of the behavioral health department into more integrative services and suggested that staff use the tools at their discretion.

“

Your presentation deserved a standing ovation because you delivered it in a manner that removed shame and stigma. You are an excellent presenter because you made mental health easier to understand.

“

Christina has a rare ability to see workplace wellbeing through a truly whole-person lens. She understands that the mind, body, emotions, and sense of purpose are interconnected—and that they influence how people communicate, lead, collaborate, and show up at work.

What makes her approach distinctive is her ability to translate that deeper understanding into practical strategies organizations can use. She looks beyond the surface of burnout, disengagement, and workplace stress to understand what may be driving the patterns underneath.

She invites organizations to think differently about wellbeing—not simply as another program or perk, but as an opportunity to support healthier people, stronger teams, and more sustainable systems.
